Hey there! Welcome! I am Valerio Di Fonzo and this is my website Global Polis.

The name Global Polis is inspired by two concepts: globalization and the Greek term polis, which means city. Independently by what we desire, there is no doubt that we live in a globalized world, and the spread of technology made it more like a city: a huge city, a Global Polis.

I do believe knowledge and information increase comprehension, respect and peace among people. Thus, I think knowledge should be free to be shared; I think knowledge should be free to circulate in all the possible ways.

Then, here you will find information about politics, economics, anthropology, sociology and much more. I do believe that both knowledge and information are vehicles for a respectful and peaceful Global Polis. Enjoy!
